The studio is three
people and a fjord.
We work from a converted boathouse on Trondheimsfjord. The studio is intentionally small. Every drawing crosses the desk of a partner. Every site is visited in winter, before drawings begin, because a house designed in summer is not a house — it is a vacation.

Practice
We design only single-residence projects. No hotels, no offices, no developer-driven housing. The constraint isn’t ideological — it’s how we keep the work specific to one person, one site, one weather pattern.
A typical commission runs 28–36 months from first letter to handover. We will not accelerate this. The slowness is the architecture.
